Jerldene Keaton - 1941-2007

Jerldene Keaton, 65, of Flatwoods, Ky., went to be with the Lord Friday, April 13, 2007, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky.

Mrs. Keaton was born Dec. 22, 1941, in Morgan County, Ky., a daughter of the late Sam and Mary Lou Price Cantrell.

She attended Old Sand Gap United Baptist Church in Lawrence County, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clancy Keaton, and a sister, Carol Harris.

She is survived by one son, Clancy (Karen) Keaton of Coal Grove, Ohio; three daughters, Lena (Jerry) Keaton-Brown of Flatwoods, Angel Justice of South Shore, Ky., and Bonita (Johnny) Kilburn of Greenup, Ky.; one brother, Kenneth Ray Cantrell of Greenup; three sisters, Katherine Savern of Mountain Home, Idaho, Barbara Lyons of Flatwoods and Judith Ann Fleming of Ashland; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2007, at Old Sand Gap United Baptist Church in Lawrence County by Elder Frank Blevins. Burial will be in Rude Cemetery in Flatwoods.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup and one hour before the service at the church.
