Russell S. Curry

Russell S. Curry, 86, Route No. 3, Caro, passed away Sun., August 9, 1964 in the Cass City Hospital. He had been ill about two months.

Mr. Curry was born in Wells Township January 16, 1878. He lived on this farm all his life.

He and Gertie Avery were married July 18, 1907 in Wells. She died in 1924.

Mr. Curry and Katrerine Durkee were married July 28, 1934. She passed away July 25, 1939.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Iola Ross, Caro, and Mrs. Ethel Seddon of Kingston, two stepdaughters, Mrs. Opal Hunter of Kingston and Mrs. Avis Starr of Pontiac and 20 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 12 at 2 p.m. from the Kingston Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Strawn officiating.

Burial was in Indianfield Cemetery at Caro.
