LEXINGTON - David Randall "Randy" Rowell, 57, died Sunday, May 9, 2010. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion, SC.

Born July 20, 1952 in Marion, he was a son of the late Travis L. and Christine B. Rowell of Marion. He had lived in Lexington with his wife, Linda, since May 2003.

He was employed for many years at Blumenthal Mills, Inc. in Marion before moving to Lexington. He was employed with the South Carolina Museum of Art in Columbia. Randy was an avid Carolina Gamecock fan and supported the Gamecock Club for many years. He and Linda looked forward to watching the Carolina Gamecocks at Williams-Brice as well as the basketball and baseball games.

Surviving are his wife, Linda V. Rowell of Lexington; two step-sons, Chris Jackson of Greenville, NC and Michael Jackson (Kimberly) of James Island; a step-daughter, Michelle Jackson of Greenville, NC; a brother, Reggie Rowell of Hartsville; and two sisters, Hibby R. Jeffords (Steve) of Hartsville and Sherry R. Price (Larry) of Bamberg;
