"From Pontiac to Owasso, 62 miles, and back, three times a week.
Contract made with Archibald Spear, dated April 29, 1854, at $860 : to commence July 1, 1654; to expire June 30, 1858.
Leave Pontiac Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 12 p.m. ; arrive at Owasso next days by 6 p.m.
Leave Owasso Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 6 a. m. ; arrive at Pontiac next day by 12 p.m."
He was 54 years old at the time of his death.
