Leon Corne, age 77, of Elkhart, Texas died at his home on June 6, 2010. His body will be cremated, followed by a private family service. He was born in Palestine, Texas on August 10, 1932 to the late Claude L. and Ada Viola Rogers Corne. He attended Palestine schools. Mr. Corne was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ronald Leon Corne; brothers, Claude Corne, and Richard Corne; and sister, Marie Cross. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ann Harris Corne; children, Forrest Corne and wife Denise, Eric Edward Corne, Karran Corne Vannnoy and husband Doug; and grandchildren, Ben and Jenna Corne.
