"Mahanoy City - Sudden Death of Wm. Flueger
William Pflueger an aged resident of East Mahanoy avenue, died suddenly. He was apparently in good health when he sat down to breakfast. After eating heartily he went into his cobbler shop, adjoining, and worked till noon, when he went into the house. He was there but a few moments when he was attacked with severe pains in the chest. A doctor was sent for, but before he arrived death had occurred. Deceased was a veteran of the Civil war and a member of Severn Post, No. 110, G.A.R., and P.O.S. of A."
