Howard McNary, 49, veteran Burnside Township farmer, died unexpectedly Sunday in his home after a two year illness. Mr. McNary occasionally had been employed at a Brown City elevator.
He was born June 30, 1901 in Burnside Township and married Miss Clara Jurn Oct. 15, 1925 in Imlay City. He was a member of the Brown City Methodist Church.
Surviving are his widow; three sons, William, of Imlay City; Charles and Robert, of Brown City; one daughter, Joyce Anne, at home; two brothers, Milford McNary, Brown City, and Donald McNary, Imlay City, and six sisters, Mrs. Bruce McAllister, Lapeer; Mrs. Meno Kalbflesch and Mrs. Harry Willer, both of Brown City; Mrs. Lloyd Turner, Sheboygan; Mrs. John Solman, Lum, and Mrs. Emmett Baxter, St. Clair Shores.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Brown City Methodist Church with Rev. Mabel Elder officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Remains are in the family home.
