Age 74. Late of Joliet. Suddenly Monday, October 18, 1993. Born in Joliet; life long resident. Was employed by Little Company of Mary in Evergreen Park as a radiation therapist for 35years, retiring in 1985. Presently employed part time at Palos Cancer Care Center. Life long parishioner of St. John the Baptist Church, Joliet. Graduate of St. Francis Academy. Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary (Sullivan) Scheffler; and one brother, Donald Scheffler, ? ? ? , a City of Joliet Fireman (Jean) and Richard, both of Joliet; nine grandchildren, Patrick (Gigi) Rohder, Karen Rohder, Laurie (Robert) Bauer, Colleen (Marc) Senffner, Margaret Rohder, Jennifer Rohder, Amy Rohder, Michelle Rohder and Nicole Rohder; one great granddaughter, Jordan Ashley Rohder; two sisters, Rosemary (the late Harold) Raub and Jeanne Ciancanellil, both of Joliet; one brother, Gerald (Allice) Scheffler of Joliet; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Palos Cancer Care Center.
Services Friday, 9:15 a.m. to St. John the Baptist, Joliet for Mass at 10 a.m.
Visitation Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
