Elvenia, as she was called, was the fourth of six children born to Noah Williams and Helene Eulalie "Ellen" Govereau. She was a twin sister to Mary Magdalena "Maggie" Williams. Her name has been spelled various ways in records; Elvena, Elvenia, Elvania, Vena and even as Mary Elvessiar. Elvenia was never married and she died at the age of 79 from pneumonia. She died at the Whiteway Nursing Home in Farmington, MO where she had lived for the last 5 years of her life. Prior to entering the nursing home in 1955, she had lived in Desloge, St. Francois, MO.
