Charles Henderson died in 1828. His will mentions his wife Mary and children named James and Jane. Whether there was issue of the second marriage is not clear.

DEED; Charles Henderson to Joseph Baird

This document made the 19th day of March in the year of our Lord eighteen Hundred and twenty four Between Charles Henderson Senr. of Fairfield township, Wesmoreland county and state of Pennsylvania and Mary his wife of the one part and Joseph Baird of the county and state aforsaid of the other part. Wittnessith the said Charles Henderson and Mary his wife for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to them in hand paid by the said Joseph Bayard at and before the ensealing and delivery hereof the receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge, and thereof acquit and forever discharge the said Joseph Bayard (page 399) his heirs, executors and administrators by these presents have granted, bargained and sold, aliened emforffed aliened and confirm unto the said Joseph Bayard and to his heirs and assigns, a certain piece of land containing thirty acres of land to the same more or less, lying and being in the aforesaid Township. Said line to begin at Samuel Henderson sent north and seen a straight course touching the fence of the potato patch and straight due South course until it stricks Nicholas Snyders line, and to go on East course from the place of Beginning till it joins Thomas Anderson`s line, which is to belong unto Joseph Bayard be the same more or less. It being a part of a certain tract of land called Greenfield Belonging to Wm. Todd who in consideration of the money paid to the Receiver Generals office paid by John Parker into the said office, whereas the said tract was surveyed in presence of a warrant dated the 25th day of August in the year of our lord seventeen hundred and eighty six granted to the said Wm. Todd who by deed dated the 5th of May seventeen hundred and ninety conveyed the same unto tha said John Parker to Have and to Hold the same to himself and his heirs forever, whick said tract the said John Parker sold by indenture unto Samuel and Charles Henderson the fith day of September one seven hundred and ninety three, and made a clear deed to them free of all incumberances which pieces or parts of said trust the said Charles Henderson and Mary his wife doth confirm unto the said Joseph Bayard and to his heirs forever Together with all and singular other the houses out, houses buildings, barns stables, warfs woods waters water courses rights liberties priviledges here determines and appurtences thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions and remainders rents issued and profits thereof, and also all the estate rights title interest property allows and demand whatever of them the said Charles Henderson and Mary his wife in law or equity or otherwise howsomever of in or out of the same To Have and To Hold the said message or tennement and tract of thirty acres of land heredisments and promises hereby granted or mentioned as to be with the appurtances into the said Joseph Bayard his heirs and assigned. To the only proper use and behalf of the said Joseph Bayard, his heirs and assigns forever. In witness whereof the said parties these presents have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year above written.
