DEVILS LAKE Dwaine Rardon, 79, Devils Lake, formerly of Churchs Ferry, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011, in a Grand Forks hospital.
He was born Nov. 1, 1931, to William and Pearl Rardon in Rolla. He entered the Army April 7, 1953, and served in Korea during the Korean conflict. He was discharged Feb. 9, 1955. He married Doris Beck Aug. 29, 1956, in Devils Lake.
Survivors: wife; daughters, Louise Hahn, Grand Forks, Laurie Rodriguez, Devils Lake; son, Richard, Devils Lake; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Von, Great Falls, Mont., Clinton, Lincoln, Neb.; sisters, Arlus Weston, Brookston, Ind., Allura Schoephoerster, Lodi, Wis., Colleen Brown of Marlow, Okla., Linda Bacon, Spokane, Wash., Elaine Villeburn and Alvina Sullivan, both Great Falls.
Funeral: Saturday, 2 p.m., St. Joseph Catholic Church, Devils Lake.
Burial: St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Devils Lake.
