Mrs. Edwards was a daughter of the late Judd and Eula Paralee Buckner Laughter and was married to the late Ernest Floyd Edwards. She worked as a saleslady at Fain’s Department Store on Biltmore Avenue for 35 years before her retirement in 1978, and was a member of Cornerstone Church.
She is survived by two sons, Ernest Edwards and Charles Edwards of Asheville; a sister Elon Pritchard of Anderson, SC, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
