Norma Jean Ledford Bowes age 78, of Miller Road died Sunday, September 4, 2011 at her home. She was born in Guilford County and was the daughter of the late Clarence Walter Ledford and Elizabeth Taylor Ledford.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Marie Athey. She was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her children, Kathy Evans and husband, Dwight, Merritt Bowes, Michael Bowes, Keith Bowes and wife Wendy, Patricia Long and husband Danny, all of Roxboro; JoAnne Bryant and husband Randall of Timberlake; three Brothers, Bruce Ledford of Mt. Ulla; Garland Ledford of Snow Camp; Calvin Ledford of Burlington; one sister, Ruth Ingle of Burlington; five grandchildren, Christie Irby, Brian Bowes, Chrystal Ellis, Brandy Llamas, and Brooke Bowes, two step-grandchildren, Brandon Hargis and Brandy Hargis, four great-grandchildren, Tyler Ellis, Hayden Lowery, Jacob Llamas, and Addison Ellis.
