She born in Holland and came to the USA when she was 18. She married William Klumforth in Newton, IA on 6-21-1894.
She had five children, William J, Everett, Charles, Kate and Mrs C.E. Smith. They moved to Iowa City where she died on 05-13-1933. She was a tall woman and wore her hair in a bun. She was a very neat housekeeper.
