Mrs. Patsy Huffman Edwards, age 65, of 5368 Spicer Mountain Road, Sparta, died Wednesday morning, August 22, 2007, at her home.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry D. Edwards of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sara and Stan Houser, Becky and Larry Scott, all of Sparta; a son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Dr. Emily Edwards of Roanoke, VA; five grandchildren, Steffanie and Jonathan Houser, Heather and Amber Scott, and Levi Edwards; her mother, Elsie Mullins Huffman of Sparta; one sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Sam Black of Madison; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Randall Huffman of King, Walter Frank and Wanda Huffman of Greensboro.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 24th at the Grandview Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery at Whitehead. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, this evening, at the funeral home.
