Died at her home near Carter's Creek on Monday, Mrs. Callie Moore Ragan, wife of Jas. T. Ragan. She had been in ill health for a long time, but not until a few days ago did her friends realized that the end was near. She was a consistent member of the C. P. Church, a devoted and faithful wife, a kind and thoughtful neighbor. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband and two brothers, J. M. Moore of Stiversville and Bose Moore of Culleoka. Funeral Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence by Rev. Gebard, interment at Rose Hill. -- Columbia Herald, 05 July 1907.
