Mrs. Petra V. Bautista, 86, died about 5:15 a.m. yesterday at her home at 1009 N. Staples.
Mrs. Bautista was born in Corpus Christi and lived here all her life.
She was a member of the Lazaro Cardenas Society, Benefisencia De Senoritas y Senoras, Supreme Forest Woodmen Circle and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors are one son, Justo Contreras; one daughter, Mrs. Ralph Galvan Sr., 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
Rosary was receited at 8 p.m. yesterday at Juan Gonzalez funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
