Noah Stanley, 75, a retired Stonecoal coal miner, died at 3 a.m. yesterday at home of complications after a year's illness. He was born February, 1879, in Pike County, Kentucky, a son of George and Lucinda Williams Stanley. The deceased was married to the former Judy Young who survives. Mr. Stanley was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church and a member of the UMWA. The body was to be taken to the late residence at 2 p.m. today. Other survivors include a son, Clyde, of Beauty, Kentucky; five daughters, Mrs. Anna Brewer of Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. Bessie Mollett of Stonecoal, Mrs. Ethel Deals of Chillicothe, Ohio, Mrs. Eva Maynard of Williamson, and Mrs. Rosa Stanley of Stonecoal. Two brothers, George of Waverly, Ohio, and John of Lovely, Kentucky, and a sister, Mrs. Sis Hunley of Columbus, Ohio. Service to be conducted at the graveside of Varney Cemetery at Lando Mines will be at 2 p.m. with the Revs Clifford Boothe and Will Kirk officiating. Richmond-Callahan funeral home of Inez in charge of arrangements.
