Mrs. Hudson was born May 14, 1925 in South Webster, Ohio, a daughter of the late Jack and Della Vest Workman. She was also preceded to rest by one son, Michael Workman; and two brothers, John Workman and Bill Workman. She was a registered nurse; a homemaker, and a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband that loved her dearly, Theodore Hudson, Jr.; one daughter, Vickie Lynn and Gary Meadows of Rome, New York; one son, Keith and Betty Hollycross of Springfield, Ohio; one step son, Carl Hudson of Ashland, Kentucky; two sisters, Mary Ellen and Joe Phillips of Springfield, Ohio and Geneva and John Harris of Bradenton, Florida; one brother, Cowen and Pauline Workman of Oakhill, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 21, 2004 at the EVANS FUNERAL HOME in Raceland, Kentucky, by Bill Blake and Richard W. Blevins, Pastors. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Wheelersburg, Ohio. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Community Hospice, 1538 Central Avenue, Ashland, Kentucky 41101.
