George Hutcheson Denny, Hutcheson Denny, Jr., 49, died at a hospital in Winston-Salem, N.C. Saturday. He was the son of Dr. George H. Denny, Sr., of Lexington, former president of Washington and Lee University, Lexington, Va., and was employed as an adjudicator in the claims department of the Veterans Administration in Winston-Salem.
Surviving besides his father are his widow, Mrs. Evelyn Olson Denny, Winston-Salem; two sisters, Mrs. Hunter McClung and Miss Frances Denny, both of Lexington. Private Graveside services were at 11 a.m. Monday in the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery.
