He was a World War I veteran and a retired coal miner. Born in Hocking County, he was a son of the late Ola and Ellen Pearson.
He is survived by his wife, Martha; a brother, Clarence of Nelsonville Route 1, and a sister, Mrs. Mabel Cope, Nelsonville.
Services will be Monday, 1 p.m., at the Johnson Funeral Home, Nelsonville, with the Rev. Roy Ballard officiating. Burial will be in Carbon Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home at anytime.
