My uncle, Robert Brown, aged 89, of Toledo, died Wednesday, November 10, 2004, at Lake Park Comfort Care. He was a brick mason with various construction companies for over 50 years, retiring in 1975.
Robert was preceded in death by his daughters, Jeanie Brown and Sallie Hall; his parents, Robert and Bertha Brown; 2 brothers, Harold and Ernest, and three sisters, Rose Brown, Edith Kehle and Frieda Nelson.
He was survived at the time of his death by his loving wife, Dorothy Brown; son, Robert Brown and his wife Sandy of Lambertville; daughter, Susan Gottschalk and her husband Charles of Pettysburg. Robert was also survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great granchildren; and sisters, Mary Jane St. Aubin of Toledo, and Betty Wyrick of Greensboro, N.C.
Family and friends visited at the H.H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd. (at Alexis Rd.) on Friday, November 12, 2004, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 p.m.
