PAMPA, Texas - Vallie Mae Futch, 82, died Wednesday, April 18, 2007, in Amarillo, Texas.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2007, at First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Jeff Taylor, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Mobeetie Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Futch was born December 10, 1924 in Kelton. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1989. She married Rev. James J. Futch on November 17, 1943 in Sayre, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on April 18, 1990. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Kononia Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Patchwork Quilter Guild.

Survivors include 1 Daughter: Jana Minyard & husband John of Borger. 2 Sons: Richard Futch & wife Connie of Seymour, and Dave Futch & wife Betty of Moncks Corner, South Carolina. 1 Brother: George Harris & wife Barbara of Wheeler. 1 Sister: Lorene Bernard of Amarillo. 6 Grandchildren: Shane Futch, Ty Futch, Josh Minyard, Jill Minyard, David Futch and Krista Futch. 5 Great-Grandchildren.
