Ambrose J. Eisenman was born on September 6, 1869, in Clarion County, Pennsylvania. His parents were Jeremiah “Jerry” and Theresa Spiegel Eisenman.

His had the following siblings: William born about 1866 or April 1869; Elizabeth born about 1867; Clara A. born about 1873; Ignants/Ennis born in July 1875; Anna B. born in January 1878; Walter born in June 1883; and Mary born in September 1882.

On July 3, 1894, Ambrose Eisenman and Veronika Eisenman were married in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, with the Rev. Jos. Anthony officiating. Both were residing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at the time and Ambrose Eisenman’s occupation was listed as painter. The marriage license was issued on July 2, 1894. They were related as third cousins. The marriage license/certificate number is Series B No. 19722.

They had the following children: Robert J. born in September 1895; Florence born in September 1897; Mary born in November 1899; Theresa born about October 1901; and Helen born in December 1905.

His wife Veronica Eisenman died on October 1, 1913, at the age of 51 years, 8 months and five days. She was buried on October 4, 1913, in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Ambrose Eisenman worked for many years in the oil industry. In his death certificate, he was retired, but had worked for Atlantic Refining.

Relatives and friends, also employees Atlantic Refining Co., Point Breeze Branch invited to funeral Wednesday, 10 A.M., Dinnien Funeral Home, 5138 N. Broad St., Corner (Duncannon Ave.). Solemn Requiem Mass Holy Child Church, 11 A.M. Internment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday evening.
