William A Eisenman was born on April 2, 1866, probably in Clarion County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Jeremiah and Theresa Spiegel Eisenman.

He was the eldest of eight children: Elizabeth born about 1867; Ambrose J born in September 1869; Clara A. born about 1873; Ignants/Ennis born in July 1875; Anna B. born in January 1878; Walter born in June 1883; and Mary born in September 1882.

His father died in 1908 and his mother in 1922. William Eisenman never married and according to the death certificate, he was a millworker.

OBITUARY:

EISENMAN – William A., of 4603 Butler St., on Sunday, October 24, brother of Mary Eisenman; uncle of Betty Howley and Shirley Lazer; three brothers: Walter of Pittsburgh; Ambrose of Philadelphia; Enos of Oil City. Friends received at the Goeltz Funeral Home, 3509 Penn Ave. Requiem mass at St. Augustine’s Church on Wednesday, October 27, at 9 a.m.
