Blanche Alice Eisenman was born on April 1, 1887, in Tylersburg, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of Albert Ambrose and Sybilla Nancy Hoover Eisenman.

She was the eldest of five siblings: Laura Anna; George Christian; Cathryn Christina; and Bertha M.

Blanche Eisenman and Charles Frederick Carlson were married on September 6, 1910, in Tylersburg. The marriage license and certificate were recorded in Forest County marriages 1897 – 1926, number 1334, page 374.

They had two children: Kathryn L. and Albert F. Carlson.

OBITUARY: Mrs. Carlson Dies in Grove City

Mrs. Blanche A. Carlson, 85, formerly of 510 E. Third St., widow of Charles F. Carlson, died at 12:02 a.m. Sunday in the IOOF Home in Grove City, where she had been staying for the past six and a half months. She had been ill for one year.

Born on April 1, 1887, in Tylersburg, she was a daughter of Albert A. and Sybilla Hoover Eisenman.

She and Charles F. Carlson were married September 6, 1910. He died Aubust 18, 1958. Mrs. Carlson had lived in Oil City for the past 60 years.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Merl (Kathryn) Clark, and a son, Albert F. Carlson, bot of Oil City; a sister, Mrs. Edward (Cathryn) Netzler of Erie; four grandchildren, all of Oil City; and four great-grandchildren.

Two sisters, Mrs. F.M. (Laura) Kightlinger and Mrs. George (Bertha) Plack, and a brother, George C. Eisenman, are deceased.

Friends may call at the Louis H. Osenider Funeral Home after 2 p.m. today and where family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Rev. Hugh Crocker, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
