He was the seventh of eleven children and the youngest son. His siblings were: Jeremiah; Luisa Susanna; Paul; Sarah Jane; Francis “Frank”; Miles; Mary Magdalena “Lena:” Anna and Catherine. One sister died as an infant about 1859.
He married Sybilla Hoover in 1885. They had a number of children: Blanch A; Anna L; George C; Cathyrn Christina; and Bertha M.
OBITUARY: Albert A. Eisenman
Albert A. Eisenman, aged 75 years, died at the Oil City hospital at 11:15 o’clock Friday morning (June 3, 1927).
Mr. Eisenman was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Eisenman and was born on February 29, 1852. He lived near Fryburg for many years and was a well-known lumberman there before he moved to Oil City 12 years ago to live with his son, George C. Eisenman, 214 Pine St.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Sybilla Eisenman, four daughters and one son: Mrs. Blanche Carlson; Mrs. Laura Kightlinger; Mrs. Bertha Plack; George C. Eisenman, of Oil City; Mrs. E. F Netzler, of Erie. He also leaves two sisters and one brother: Mrs. Katherine Eisenman, of Titusville; Mrs. Ann Stigil of Toledo, Ohio, Miles Eisenman of Shippenville, and eight grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Oseulder chapel to be prepared for burial and was taken to the home of his son, George C. Eisenman, 214 Pine St., where funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock wit Rev. John H. Clemens, D.D., pastor of the Grace M.E. church in charge. Interment will be in the Grove Hill Cemetery.
