A few days ago died at Mavis Enderby, much lamented by all who had the pleasure of his acquaintance, Thomas Adams Franklin, Esq. Lieutenant-Colonel of the volunteer infantry.—-His remains were interred in the family vault at Spilsby, attended by upwards of 700 persons. [Stamford Mercury - Friday 23 October 1807, p.3]
