Luther Henry James, 78, of Sylvarena, died unexpectedly April 15 at his residence.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Harrison Funeral Home in Bay Springs, with burial in Bethany Cemetery. The Revs. Robert Jackson and William Ferrell will officiate.
He is survived by his widow, Annie Mae James of Sylvarena; a son, Bill R. James of Waterproof, La.; sisters, Frances Allman of Laurel, Sally Ruth Ray of Mandota, Calif., Blanche James of Sylvarena and Betty L. Stevens of Jackson.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. tonight at Harrison Funeral Home in Bay Springs, which is in charge of arrangements.
