Mrs. James, who was born in Smith County, died Thursday at her residence. She was a member of the Sylvarena Baptist Church and daughter of the late Warren and Betty McCurdy Huff.
She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Gladys Jones, Taylorsville; Mrs. Francis Allman, Laurel; Mrs. Sally Ruth Bridges, Miss Blanche James, both of Sylvarena, and Mrs. Betty L. Stevens, Jackson; five sons, Henry James, Sylvarena; Truman James, Bill James, Phil James and Roy James, all of Waterproof, La.; 22 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and one brother, C. P. Huff, of Quitman.
Memory Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
