Moses McCALL Dead
Moses McCALL, who for fifty years lived on his farm three and a half miles west of Lecompton, died at his home in town at one o'clock Monday. The funeral was held from the Glenn Church Tuesday at 2 P.M., Rev. REED of Topeka officiating. The remains were laid to rest in Maple Grove Cemetery [Lecompton Township]. Mr. McCALL was one of the pioneers of Kansas having come to this state in 1854 and settled on the farm on which he lived until about three months ago when he moved to town. He had been lying at the point of death for several weeks and his death had been expected. He is survived by a wife and nine children.
