Death of Mrs. McCALL
Mrs. Rebecca McCALL died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. J. W. ROUSE Saturday evening Nov. 13, 1897, of cancerous tumor over the left eye. The pain from the tumor left her head about noon and was soon followed by a severe pain in the stomach which continued until death came to her relief. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Mr. BRADEN at the residence of deceased's grandson, John S. COPLEY, on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. and the interment took place immediately after at Oak Ridge cemetery. Mrs. McCALL has been in feeble health for several years and at the time of her death was in her 73rd year. Her brother Moses McCALL of Leavenworth and sister Mrs. R. M. McGREGOR of Lecompton were present at the funeral.
