Mrs. Charlie Bogan
Mrs. Fannie Koon Bogan, 81, widow of the late Charlie V. Bogan of 11 N. Florida Ave., died at the residence at 1:45 am Sunday after a long period of declining health and a serious illness of three weeks.
Mrs. Bogan was born in Union County, a daughter of the late John and Lettie Mosley Koon. She lived in Spartanburg for a number of years before coming to Greenville 40 years ago.
Her husband died in 1945.
Surviving are one daughter, Miss Maybelle Bogan of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Mary K. Edwards of Marion, NC, Miss Isabelle Koon and Mrs. Betty K. Jones, both of Blacksburg, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. C.T. Bryant at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Home at 4:30 pm today. Burial will be in O'Neal Cemetery.
Six nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The body is at the funeral home and the family is at the residence.
