BILOXI -- William J. ''Jeff'' Bell, 62, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 1999, in Biloxi.

Mr. Bell, a native of Pelahatchie, grew up in Clinton and had lived in the community for five years. He served in the Korean War and was an Army veteran. Mr. Bell worked as a private investigator.

Survivors include a daughter, Cynthia Louise Bell of Jacksonville, Fla.; a son, Richard Bennett Bell of Glade Creek, N.C.; a brother, John Ellis ''Buddy'' Bell of Clinton; and four grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Biloxi National Cemetery. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements
