LaBARR, Mary Evelyn - Of Mt. Morris, age 96, went to be with Her Lord, Friday,
April 8, 2005, at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday,
April 13, 2005, at Trinity Assembly of God, 4363 W. Mt. Morris Rd., Rev. Larry
Alverson officiating with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the
O'Guinn Family Funeral Home, Clio on Monday from 5-9 PM and on Tuesday from 2-9PM.
She will then lie in state at the church on Wednesday after 10 AM. Contributions
may be made to the church. Mary was born in Carson City, MI, June 20, 1908, daughter
of the late Myron and Daisy (Reynolds) McQuaig, and was a resident of Mt. Morris most
of her life. She was a member of Trinity Assembly of God, taught Sunday School for the
church since the 1940's, and belonged to many of the church Ministries. Surviving are:
4 children, Barbara (Willis) Taylor of Clio, Beverly (Richard) Stevens of FL,
Rex (Marjorie) LaBarr of Clio, Berneice (Ernest, "Jim") Nicholas of Clio; 9
grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; many nieces and
nephews. She was also preceded in death by: her husband, Wesley LaBarr on
December 27, 1997; a brother and 2 sisters.
