Wheeler Andrew Findlay was the third of five children born to William and Gertrude (Towns) Findlay. He married Alice Priscilla McArthur on June 8th, 1910. They had three daughters: Vivian, Marjorie, and Betty. Alice passed away from Tuberculosis in 1922, at the age of 33. In 1925, Wheeler fathered a child, who was later adopted and given the name Ralph Marvin. It is unknown if he ever knew he fathered another child. Wheeler married Cora Thornton on April 11th, 1925. He passed away at the age of 74.
