McMAHAN, Erma Lucille - Of Clio, age 96, died Monday, May 19, 2008 at home. The funeral service will take place 1:00pm, Thursday, May 22, 2008 at the Miles Martin Funeral Home in Mount Morris. Erma's son, Pastor Harry McMahan will officiate with burial to follow in Thetford Township Cemetery. Erma's family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00pm until 8:00pm and again on Thursday from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 1:00pm. Erma was born February 27, 1912 in Tuscola County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred and Linnie (Avery) Findlay. She and Bernard Chancey McMahan were united in marriage on January 27, 1933 in Angola, Indiana. Together they shared over 47 loving years of marriage. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Harry (Marlene) McMahan, Gordon (Nancy) McMahan, Sharon McMahan and Lynn McMahan; ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Maxine Bogert. Erma is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Erma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bernard; son, Floyd; brother, Budd; sister, Evelyn; and five step-brothers.
