Esther Timmerman
An 80-year resident of Emporia, Mrs. Fred Timmerman, died April 28 in El Paso, Tex. She was born in Emporia,, Oct. 9, 1899, and lived here until 1979, when she and her husband moved to El Paso. She attended the First Christian Church in Emporia.
Cremation took place in Texas. A graveside memorial service will be held in Emporia's Memorial Lawn Cemetery on Friday at 2 P.M.
Mrs. Timmerman is survived by her husband; one son, Marvin Timmerman of Albuquerque, N.M.; three daughters, Mrs. K.B. (Lois Jean) Hon of El Paso, Mrs. Earl (JoAnne) Culpepper of Aurora, Colo., and Mrs. William T. (Helen) Haun of Bella Vista, Ark; two brothers, Charles Marburger of Mesa, Ariz., and Bill Marburger of Eureka; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Grant and Robert Timmerman.
