"Mrs. Gust (Hilma Caroline Johnson) Onger, 35 from east of Strandquist, died Tuesday morning shortly after giving birth to twin girls. The husband and seven children, the oldest 8 (years old), survive."
Thomas "Tom" Nelson and Mary (Stromlund) Nelson Locken took in the 1st twin, Hildur, when her mother died and raised her. It is believed the Swan Olson family took the other twin, Hilma. Hilma died young of measles.

Hildur C. (Onger) Yoraway of Anaheim Hills, CA was born February 5, 1923 as a twin in Strandquist, Minnesota. Mom passed away on July 28, 2009 at the age of 86.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Yoraway, her high school sweetheart of 57 years. She married in 1944 in San Diego at the height of the WW II. She worked for Consolidated in San Diego, CA as "Rosie the Riveter" for the war efforts.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Gustaf and Hilma Onger; four brother's Ellsworth, Bert; Wallace and Harold; her sister's Hilma Onger, Janet Carlson, and Mabel Johnson.
She is survived by her daughter/son-in-law, her son/daughter-in-law and her grandchildren.
Mom was a devoted homemaker who loved to cook and entertain family and friends and could play a good game of cards. She loved traveling with Lloyd in their Airstream travel trailer all over the US and had many friends. Many nieces and nephews will truly miss her.
She was an amazing seamstress and hobbyist. Her talents and love have been proudly inherited by all of her family and for that, Mom we thank you! In us, you live on.
Inurnment will be at Eternal Hills Memorial Park & Cemetery in Oceanside, CA.
