Clara M. Ruden

DYERSVILLE, Iowa -- Services for Mrs. Clara M. Ruden, 78, of rural Dyersville, will be at 10:30 am Monday at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 10 am today at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where the parish scripture service will be said at 8 pm.

Mrs. Ruden was a homemaker.

She was born on Jan. 18, 1912, in New Vienna, daughter of Clem and Magdalen (Schroder) Fangmann. She died Jan. 19, 1990, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home, Edgewood.

She married Nick Ruden; he preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Vernon (Joan) Kennedy of Dyersville; two sons, Dennis Ruden of Dubuque and Earl Ruden of Worthington; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild; four sisters, Marie Schneider of Dyersville, Mrs. Clarence (Julie) Schlichte of Manchester, Mrs. Alfred (Irene) Vorwald of New Vienna and Mrs. Joe (Armella) Schroeder of Holy Cross; and four brothers, Leander and Edwin Fangmann, both of Dundee, Leonard Fangmann of Guttenberg and Elmer Fangmann of Farley.
