At the age of 21 he, of his own accord, accepted the Lord Jesus Christ and united with the Mennonite Church at Walnut Creek, Ohio.
He was a diligent student of the word of God and upheld the standard of a Victorious Christian life, Though none of the family were privileged to be at his bedside when he passed away, he left a clear and definite testimony to those in attendance that all was well. His faith in God remained. The family desires to express their appreciation for the kindness shown and assistance rendered during the time of illness and bereavement.
