RHODA (McADOO) FLIPPIN (ca. 1755 - ca. 1815), first wife of Thomas Flippin Sr. (ca. 1740 - 1830), is believed buried here on their farm on Pikesville Branch of Indian Creek, near their home and mill and store, in old Barren (Monroe, after 1820) County, Kentucky. Rhoda’s death is attested while living here, but her exact date of death is unrecorded. Rhoda was the daughter of John and Ann/e McAdoo.
