Lillian Rhodes
Many hearts were saddened by the death of Miss Lillian Rhodes, which occurred Friday Morning, April 7,1905 at 4:00 a.m. She was entering the portals of womanhood when death laid its unrelenting hand upon her, being but nineteen years of age the 14th. day of last February.
The funeral was held from the home of her parents Sunday afternoon, the services being conducted by Rev. Croister of the Methodist Episcopal church. Besides the mother, father, brothers, and sisters, and many friends and relatives mourn the departure of this estimable young woman.
Mr. and Mrs. Rhodes and family extend sincere and heartfelt thanks to the pastor and members of the M.E. church and to friends and neighbors who so kindly aided and comforted them in the hour of grief and sorrow. May they likewise be comforted in time of affliction.
