Kerford S. Padgett

BEDFORD - Kerford S. Padgett, 63, died Monday afternoon in a Bedford hospital.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Hazel Zimmerman Padgett; two daughters, Mrs. G. N. Musgrove and Mrs. Walter E. Thomas, both of Bedford; four sons, Jack, Fred H. and Gerald Padgett, all of Bedford; Bobby Padgett, Roanoke; his mother, Mrs. Lena A. Padgett, Goode; three sisters, Mrs. S. B. Higgins, Roanoke, Mrs. Albert Brown, Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Roy *Cannaday, Goode; five brothers, Carey and Carrington Padgett, both of Roanoke, Carson and J. Kelly Padgett, both of Goode, Carroll Padgett, Lynchburg; nine grandchildren.

Funeral will be conducted at ? p.m. Wednesday in the Main Street Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church from Carder Funeral Home at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
