Carey Everman Padgett, Sr., 69, of 1458 Forest Park Blvd., NW, died today in a Roanoke hospital. He was a supervisor for the Coca-Cola Botting Works, Inc.
Surviving are his wife, Jessie Radcliff Padgett; three sons, Carey E. Padgett, Jr., Calvin R. Padgett, Carl R. Padgett, Roanoke; two daughters, Mrs. C. E. Meloy, Mrs. W. L. Harris, Falls Church; four brothers, Kelly Padgett, Goode, Carroll Padgett, Monroe, Carson Padgett, Moneta, Carrington Padgett, Roanoke; three sisters, Mrs. Janie Higgins, Roanoke, Mrs. Geneva Cannadayy*, Goode, Mrs. Virginia Brown, Maryland.
Lotz Funeral Home, Roanoke, is handling arrangements.
