BROWN, Susie Virginia, (Padgett), 93, went to be with the Lord February 15, 2003 at 9:35 a.m. Born October 14, 1909 in Bedford, she was the last living daughter of Lena Herbert Anderson and Robert Addison Padgett. She lived in Roanoke for many years. She is predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Albert Daniel Brown, who passed in 1996; two sisters; and six brothers. She is survived by her two daughters, Connie Sue Heflebower (Charles) of Chesapeake Beach, Md. and Patricia Ann Milburn of Edgewood, Md.; three granddaughters, Kellie Ann Miller (Clarence) of Deale, Md., Karrie Sue Murray (Robby) of Huntingtown, Md., and Korrie Lynn Newcomb; a grandson, Christopher Milburn (Karie) of Colorado Springs, Col.; three great-granddaughters, Kimberly and Kelsie Miller, and Kamryn Murray. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and special family friends, Joseph and Jean Delory, Glen and Jerry Hyatt, and Doug Hyatt and Nicky, and their families. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 19, 2003 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Beall Funeral Home in Bowie, Md. (301) 805-5544, where the service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville, Md. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to the National Breast Cancer Society or for Breast Cancer research.
