Obituary:
The Karlstad Advocate (newspaper)
Karlstad, MN, June 21, 1929

Two deaths occurred at the C. S. Carlson home in town of Wright. Last Monday, June 10th, Mrs. Carlson passed away and on Saturday, June 15th, Miss Lizzie Carlson, the daughter, received her final call. Sometime in February, Lizzie took sick with Dropsy and a week later, her mother became affected with the same sickness and tho the tenderest care had been rendered the suffering, they were both called from their dear ones, which makes it a sad home. They are mourned by husband and father, C. S. Carlson, and sons and brothers, Peter, Emanuel, Carl, Otto, Alfred, Oscar, Zackary Carlson and daughter and sister, Mrs. Gust A. Onger, all who were present at the funeral. A large attendance of friends and the floral tribute showed the sympathy for the mourners and the loss they realized in the departure of the dead, who have been loving neighbors. The community's sympathy is extended by the community to the bereaved. They were laid to rest in the family grave lot on the Mission Cemetery. Rev. P. A. Thompson officiated at the home and graves.
